When I stepped onto the pitch as Ireland’s Goalkeeper for the first time, with my brothers by my side and thousands of the best fans in the world at my back, the feeling was honestly indescribable. To be part of something so real, and in many ways such an illusion, was a profound experience.
Professional football has provided me a laboratory in which to explore the complexity of the human spirit, in all of its glorious multi-faceted settings. It gave me an opportunity to examine myself, my motivations, my fears and insecurities.
Today I aim to share my experiences, successes and failures with teams of all shapes and sizes, be that in a corporate, athletic or professional setting of any kind. It brings me much happiness to see a group and individuals come together in search of a common goal, today our goal is inner calm, resolve and self actualisation. We deserve to feel supported, seen and motivated. These are the most beautiful parts of the human experience.

Many people may not see the threads that connect the worlds of sport and enterprise, when in reality they stand firmly side by side. On a human level, to generate momentum by harnessing everyones passion and enthusiasm is something we all collectively aim for. Team dynamics are often universal, striving to create bonds built on intimacy, trust, respect and accountability.
Professionals and athletes have an intense desire to perform, we wish to express ourselves practically and creatively. We want to succeed but we don't want victory all to ourselves. We want to share it with our team, our support staff and the well wishers that we are truly blessed with along the way.
To succeed in enterprise and sport we need to be strategic, we need consistency and integrity. In order for us to season our skills, we must identify our strengths and tend to our weaknesses. If we wish to grow, we must step outside our comfort zones, we must be willing to face challenges head on. We must realise that we are not alone, together we can play the game, together we can win.
